Leeds United visit Old Trafford on Monday with six out and five doubts, while four have returned, according to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk.

Carrick’s side have not played since the Friday before the international break, a 2-2 draw at Bournemouth where Junior Kroupi’s penalty denied victory. They will have gone 23 days without a game by Monday.

For Manchester United, winger Patrick Dorgu is a doubt after a January hamstring injury, now working individually at Carrington, and involvement would be a major surprise. Harry Maguire is suspended after his red card at Bournemouth. Matthijs de Ligt has not featured since November with a back problem and no timescale has been given, with Carrick saying they are trying to get him back as quickly as they can.

Leeds’ win at West Ham in Sunday’s FA Cup quarter-final appears to have come at a cost. Midfielder Anton Stach suffered an ankle ligament injury after Max Kilman’s follow through, later leaving in a protective boot and on crutches. Daniel Farke said a May return is more realistic than April.

Centre-back Joe Rodon also picked up an ankle injury early in the second half at West Ham and was unable to continue. Farke indicated May is a likelier timeframe, with any April appearance seen as a bonus.

Winger Dan James missed the West Ham tie with an adductor strain and will be out for a couple of weeks. Farke confirmed he will also miss Monday’s match.
