Manchester United are being linked with Wolves teenager Mateus Mane, while Aston Villa are weighing Lamare Bogarde’s future and their goalkeeping options.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, United are said to be leading the race for the 18-year-old if he leaves Wolves this summer, following earlier links to a reunion with Wolves goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.

Wolves head coach Rob Edwards has said Mane will stay in the Championship and the player has echoed that stance.

Borussia Dortmund have reportedly bid £14.7million including add-ons for former Wolves defender Bastien Meupiyou, now at Portuguese side Alverca. Wolves hold a low-cost buy-back clause but are not expected to use it.

The sell-on agreed when he left last summer would return the £4.2million Wolves paid to sign him, plus 50 per cent of any profit. A move could hand Wolves a windfall.

Villa are said to be in talks over a new deal for Bogarde. The 22-year-old has impressed under Unai Emery and is attracting interest from other clubs, including Brighton.

With Emi Martinez linked with a move away, Villa have also been credited with interest in PSG goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier, with Spurs likewise mentioned as possible suitors.
