Former Manchester United star Roy Keane has this week revealed his take that Atlético Madrid head coach Diego Simeone would be the ideal installation on the touchline at Old Trafford.
This of course comes amid long-standing speculation surrounding an incoming change on the touchline on the red half of Manchester.
Man United are in the midst of another hit-and-miss opening to the new campaign, sitting mid-table in the Premier League with three wins and three defeats from seven outings to date.
Such inconsistencies have given rise to fresh reports that Ruben Amorim could be sent on his way at any moment.
And in the case of as much coming to fruition, one individual in no two minds when it comes to the ideal successor is the aforementioned Roy Keane.
Speaking during an appearance on ‘The Overlap’ (as cited by Mundo Deportivo) this week, Red Devils icon Keane explained:
“I’ve been saying it for years, I’d like Simeone from Atlético Madrid to go to Manchester United. I’d like to see him there. I know his friend (Andrea Berta) has gone to Arsenal. I think he would cause chaos, but a positive chaos. He would revolutionize everything. There are no guarantees, but I’d like to see him because of his personality, his career.”
