Another Old Trafford victory would certainly be an extra bonus.

Fantastic home record vs Villa

It’s not just Carrick that enjoys a strong home record; United have also been very good at Old Trafford versus tomorrow’s opponents.

The club “have lost just two of their last 37 home league games against Aston Villa (winning 28 and drawing seven).”

The two losses were 0-1 defeats in December 2009 and September 2021.

Even in last season’s terrible 15th place finish, they defeated the Villans 2-0 on the last day of the season.
