Man Utd set to complete signing of Lea Schüller

Manchester United are set to complete the signing of German international Lea Schüller from Bayern Munich according to reports.

Schüller joined Bayern from SGS Essen in 2020 and has since won four Bundesliga titles with the club and has scored over 100 goals for the club in 180 games.

The 28-year-old will be brought in to immediately strengthen the United frontline and is a player with plenty of Champions League experience having played four times and scored once for Bayern in the competition so far this season.

According to journalist Tom Garry of The Guardian, the deal is close to completion for the player whose contract with Bayern expires at the end of the season.

Should the deal be completed, Schüller would be the first German to play for the women's team and the first for any senior United team since Bastian Schweinsteiger.
