In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Manchester City are keeping tabs on Bayer 04 Leverkusen playmaker Ibrahim Maza. It has been mentioned that the Mancunian giants have identified the Algerian youngster as a target for the summer transfer window.

Maza’s Impressive Form In The Bundesliga

The 20-year-old is having a decent campaign at the German club as he has put in a string of eye-catching displays for them in the final third. Maza has found the back of the net five times and earned six assists in 38 matches for Bayer 04 Leverkusen this season across various competitions.

The Algerian talent is currently among the best young playmakers in the Bundesliga. Thus, Man City would do well to lure him to the Etihad Stadium in the upcoming transfer window.

His current contract at the German club will expire in the summer of 2030, which could make it difficult for the Mancunian outfit to sign him this off-season.

Manchester City Are Keeping Tabs On Maza: Is He A Prospect For The Future?

Maza is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and has got the vision to engineer some decent chances for his teammates in the final third. He can shoot the ball with power from long range and can chip in by scoring and creating his fair share of goals in the final third.

However, the Algerian sensation is still quite raw and would need time to prove his worth at the highest level. Plus, there are some concerns over whether he can cope with the physical side and high intensity of the Premier League if Man City manage to get a deal done for him later this year.

We can expect Maza to add more quality and depth to Pep Guardiola’s attack. He is good enough to fight for a regular first-team spot at the Mancunian club in the coming seasons.

At 20, the future looks quite bright for Maza as long as he continues to improve with each year. He is undoubtedly a prospect to watch out for in the long run, so Man City would be wise to go all out to bring him to the Etihad Stadium this summer.
