It seemed to only be a matter of time before Manchester City completed their move to sign Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace. Fabrizio Romano reported earlier today that City were on the verge of sealing the signing of the Crystal Palace captain. Now multiple reports have emerged stating that City have agreed a deal to sign Guehi from the FA Cup holders. That is massive news for Pep Guardiola’s side, as they will sign one of the top centre-backs in the Premier League in a deal that can only be viewed as superb piece of business by Manchester City.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that Manchester City have agreed a deal to sign Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace. Furthermore, Romano reports that City will pay around £20 million to sign the England international. Romano also reports that Guehi has agreed to join Manchester City.
David Ornstein has also reported for The Athletic that Manchester City have agreed to sign Marc Guehi for £20 million plus add-ons and that a sell on clause is included in the deal. Furthermore, Ornstein reports that Guehi will sign a 5-and-a-half year deal with City. His contract City will expire in 2031 as per David Ornstein’s report.
Lastly, Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has revealed that Marc Guehi will not feature for Crystal Palace this weekend. Crystal Palace take on Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.
