The 22-year-old has enjoyed a great campaign at the Madrid club as he has managed to put in a string of impressive performances for them on the defensive end of the field. Pubill has scored one goal and grabbed one assist in 36 matches for Atletico Madrid this season across all fronts.

The Spain international is currently among the best centre-backs in La Liga. Thus, the Red Devils would do well to get a deal done for him this summer.

His current contract at the Wanda Metropolitano will expire in the summer of 2030, which could make it tough for Man United to land him on a cut-price deal later this year.

The Spanish sensation is primarily a central defender but can also operate as a right-back if asked to do so. However, it remains to be seen whether he can cope with the physical style and high intensity of the Premier League if the Red Devils manage to snap him up this off-season.
