In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Manchester United are keeping tabs on Club Tijuana talent Gilberto Mora. It has been stated that the Red Devils are monitoring the progress of the Mexico international this summer.

Mora’s Impressive Rise In Brazilian Football

The 17-year-old managed to shine at times with his performances for Club Tijuana in the final third last season. Mora found the back of the net six times and secured one assist in 20 matches for the Mexican outfit in the previous campaign across various competitions.

The gifted teenager is currently one of the most talented playmakers in his homeland. Hence, Man United would do well to get a deal over the line for him this off-season.

His current deal at the Mexican club will run out in the summer of 2029, which could make it difficult for the Red Devils to land him on a cut-price deal in this transfer window.

Mora mainly plays in the number ten position but can also operate as a left-winger if told to do so by his manager. However, the Tijuana playmaker is still quite raw and would need time to prove his worth at the highest level. However, only time will tell whether he can adapt to the physical style and high intensity of the Premier League if the Red Devils manage to snap him up later this year.

Mora would enhance the quality of Man United boss Michael Carrick’s attack in the long run. He is capable of serving as a useful rotational piece in the Mancunian club’s squad next season.
