In a recent report, Fichajes stated that Manchester United are planning to move in for Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller. It has been mentioned that the Red Devils are hoping to get a deal done for the German sensation next year.

Stiller’s Decent Run Of Form In German Football This Season

Stiller has made an impressive start to this Bundesliga campaign as he has put in a handful of eye-catching performances for Bayern at the centre of the park. The German midfield ace has found the back of the net once and earned five assists in 17 matches for the Bavarian giants this season in all competitions.

The 24-year-old has given a good account of himself in the middle of the field and deserves credit for making ten tackles, nine blocks, eight interceptions and 12 clearances in the Bundesliga. He has even distributed possession accurately from midfield, as evidenced by his pass success rate of 85.8% in the top tier of German football (stats via fbref.com).

His current contract at the German club will run out in the summer of 2028. Thus, it won’t be easy for Man United to snap him up on the cheap next year.

Will Stiller Be A Good Fit For Manchester United Boss Ruben Amorim?

Stiller loves a tackle and can time his challenges well to secure the ball back for his team inside his half. He usually clears the danger when the opposition are on the front foot and can even chip in by scoring and creating a few important goals for his team going forward.

The German sensation mainly operates as a holding midfielder but can also play as a box-to-box midfielder if required. However, there are some concerns over whether he would be able to maintain his good form in the Premier League if the Red Devils manage to bring him on board next year.

We can expect Stiller to bring more bite and steel to Man United boss Ruben Amorim’s midfield department. He has what it takes to challenge for a regular first-team spot at the Theatre of Dreams and could serve as a good replacement for Casemiro at the Mancunian club.

At 24, Stiller has his peak years ahead of him, which makes him a good fit for Man United’s needs next year.
