Manchester United: Bryan Mbeumo arrives at Old Trafford for €81 million!
Bryan Mbeumo put pen to paper with Manchester United on the evening of Monday, July 21, 2025. Signed from Brentford for a staggering €81 million, the Cameroonian forward has committed until June 2030, with an option for an additional season.
It took nearly two months of rumors, negotiations, rejected and insufficient offers, and unwavering determination from the Red Devils before this blockbuster transfer was finally sealed. Just hours ago, Manchester United officially announced the arrival of Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford. The Manchester club shelled out a fortune—€81 million—to secure the Cameroonian striker, who netted 20 goals in the 2025/26 Premier League season.
"Manchester United is pleased to confirm that Bryan Mbeumo has joined the club, subject to registration. The Cameroon international has signed a contract through June 2030, with an option to extend for a further year," the English club announced in its official statement.
For the 25-year-old Cameroon international, it’s a childhood dream come true. After six seasons with Brentford, the Indomitable Lions striker embarks on a new challenge in England, donning new colors.
"As soon as I knew there was a chance to join Manchester United, I seized the opportunity to sign for the club of my dreams—the team whose shirt I wore as a kid. My mentality is always to be better than yesterday. I know I have the mindset and character to reach another level here, learning from Ruben Amorim and playing alongside world-class players. Everyone has told me about the atmosphere being built here and the exciting projects for the future. This is a massive club, with an incredible stadium and amazing fans. We’re all determined to fight for the biggest trophies," Bryan Mbeumo said at his unveiling.
