Barcelona are gearing up for a busy 2026, where one of the club’s priorities will be to secure the future of Marcus Rashford.
The Englishman joined the club on loan from Old Trafford last summer and has impressed so far, racking up six goals and nine assists.
Although the Englishman has been lacking in a few places, he has shown signs of improvement in those pockets.
Barcelona have a buyout clause worth somewhere around €30-35 million, but the club are yet to make a final decision. Everything suggests the club will want to keep hold of the player.
A major positive for Barcelona is that Manchester United are clearly not interested in bringing back their star striker.

According to local press reports in Manchester, as cited by Diario SPORT, Man United head coach Ruben Amorim is not keen on retaining the services of Rashford.
This clears the way for Barcelona to not only sign the Englishman on a permanent deal next summer, but also potentially lower the buyout clause.
The Catalans will be aware that Rashford remains a liability to Man United while the player himself wants to play for Barcelona.
Keeping that in mind, it won’t be surprising to see Deco push for a lower buyout clause for the English international next summer.
Amorim, for his part, does not want him as part of his plans next season, although a change of manager at Man United could significantly change things.
Given United’s improved form, though, Amorim may have borrowed a bit more time for himself, which is a net positive for Barcelona, as far as Rashford’s future is concerned.
