Darlow has emerged as an option with the 35-year-old’s deal at Leeds due to expire in July. The veteran is viewed as a Premier League experienced deputy for Lammens, alongside Tom Heaton, who has signed a new deal at Old Trafford.

According to The Athletic, however, Leeds want to keep Darlow and are set to table a new deal to the goalkeeper. Darlow made 22 Premier League appearances last season.

Sam Johnstone, who came through the academy ranks at Manchester United, is another in contention. The 33-year-old was relegated from the Premier League with Wolves last season and has earned four caps for England.

Manchester United have Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana due to return from a loan spell at Trabzonspor, though a permanent sale will be sought this summer.
