Manchester United have added Everton attacker Iliman Ndiaye to their summer wishlist, according to the Manchester Evening News.
Manager Michael Carrick wants to strengthen his options on the left side of the attack.
Ndiaye has emerged as a potential transfer target, and Man United could look to lure him away from the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
It would be a blow for Toffees boss David Moyes if the Senegal international leaves this summer, as the club have been trying to get him to sign a new deal.
However, he has rejected several offers. Ndiaye still has three years remaining on his current contract, and there is no exit clause.
The 26-year-old is asking for an exit clause, which could be triggered as early as this summer, to be included in the new deal before an agreement is reached.
The Red Devils will continue to monitor the situation, but Everton are under no pressure to sell him anytime soon.
United admire Ndiaye’s versatility, and his ability to beat defenders could come in handy for them.
The Red Devils need to improve in attack if they are serious about challenging for the Premier League title and impressing in the Champions League.
United are playing in the elite European competition next season, while the Toffees missed out entirely on continental football.
The Everton star would be a solid addition to their current options in the final third, and a move could appeal to him.
