It has been mentioned that the Red Devils are eyeing a move to bring the Brazilian midfield ace to Old Trafford, but would have to pay in the region of £50m to land him this off-season.

Santos’ Impressive Season In The Premier League

Santos had a solid campaign at the West London club as he put in a string of influential displays for them in the Premier League. The 22-year-old made 43 appearances for the Blues last season, netting three goals and securing four assists in various competitions.

The Brazilian talent is currently among the most talented midfielders in Premier League football. Thus, the Red Devils would do well to get a deal over the line for him in this transfer period.

His current deal at Stamford Bridge will expire in the summer of 2030, which could make it tough for Man United to sign him on a cut-price deal later this year.

Santos loves a tackle and can make the odd interception for his side in the middle of the park. He usually puts his foot through the ball when the opposition are on the front foot and is an accurate passer as well from midfield.

The Brazilian sensation can even chip in by scoring and creating a handful of important goals for his team from midfield. Santos mainly operates as a box-to-box midfielder but can also serve as a holding midfielder if asked to do so. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League and won’t take much time to settle into life at Old Trafford.
