Leeds forward Lukas Nmecha could be lining up for a family derby, with Leeds' bitter rivals Manchester United linked with his brother Felix.
The Athletic reports that United have made enquiries about the Borussia Dortmund midfielder, who played 42 times last season and signed a contract to 2030 in March.
Nmecha joined Leeds last summer on a free after leaving Wolfsburg. Alongside fellow free agent Dominic Calvert-Lewin, he helped deliver 20 Premier League goals, six of them his.
For Germany at the World Cup, Felix started every match, scoring and assisting in the 7-1 win over Curacao then supplying another assist in the 2-1 victory against Ivory Coast. Germany were later knocked out by Paraguay in the round of 32 after a dramatic penalty shoot-out this week.
The brothers began at Manchester City and reunited at Wolfsburg in 2021 before Felix moved to Dortmund in 2023. They have faced each other twice in the Bundesliga, with the younger sibling and Dortmund winning both, and have played together 28 times since their City youth days.
