Reports in the UK claim that Manchester United have expressed an interest in signing Italy no.1 Gianluigi Donnarumma from Paris Saint-Germain, who are closing in on a deal for Lille stopper Lucas Chevalier.
Donnarumma is into the final season of the five-year contract he signed after leaving Milan on a free transfer in the summer of 2021 and has no shortage of suitors as the summer window progresses.
Recent reports claim that Manchester City have also expressed an interest in the Champions League winner, as have Galatasaray and now Manchester United as well.

As per Sky Sports in the UK, Donnarumma is in no rush to make a decision concerning his future, regardless of the fact that PSG are close to sealing a deal with Lille for the signing of the highly-rated Chevalier for a fee in the region of €40m.
There have been suggestions that the Italy captain could be happy to stay put in Paris and compete with Chevalier for the no.1 jersey if the 23-year-old is brought in.
Reports on Wednesday, meanwhile, confirmed that Donnarumma’s agent is still due to meet with representatives from the club to discuss the former Milan keeper’s future in the coming days.
