The Daily Mail reports that Manchester United are weighing up a move for former Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville as part of a potential £140m double swoop on relegated West Ham.
Summerville left Leeds for West Ham in 2024 when his £28m release clause was triggered. He had 21 goals and 10 assists in the previous Championship season, earning multiple individual awards.
He initially struggled in east London, then hit six goals in seven games across all competitions early in 2026, keeping survival hopes alive until the final day. West Ham beat Leeds 3-0, but Tottenham Hotspur’s win over Everton confirmed relegation.
United are also targeting his teammate Mateus Fernandes as they seek additions in central midfield and out wide, should Marcus Rashford leave as expected. The report adds West Ham want up to £140m for the pair, a fee United would try to lower.
The Athletic reports Summerville is valued at around £50m, after five goals and two assists in the Premier League last season.
His eventual price could be influenced by his World Cup form, which began with a curled finish in a 2-2 draw against Japan last weekend.
