Manchester United’s target Aurélien Tchouaméni’s future at Real Madrid linked to Eduardo Camavinga’s | OneFootball

Faced with the need to restructure, Real Madrid have decided to take drastic action. And some players are likely to bear the brunt of this. This could well be the case for Eduardo Camavinga (23), for whom the Merengue management and their new manager José Mourinho are reportedly willing to consider potential offers, according to The Athletic.

Although he made 43 appearances during the 2025–25 season, with just 23 starts, the French international has nevertheless struggled to really make his mark. The time now seems to have come for him to move on to pastures new, as Real Madrid are looking to offload a midfielder in order to bring in a creative player to fill that role.

However, a move away for Camavinga, who is under contract with Real Madrid until 2029, is still far from a done deal. In fact, it is even considered “impossible” by the player’s entourage. It is a complex situation that could lead the Madrid management to rethink their plans.

In that case, it is his compatriot Aurélien Tchouaméni (26) who might find himself packing his bags. An undisputed first-team regular last season (45 starts in 49 matches), the Rouen-born player has nevertheless gone through a few rough patches, notably following his altercation with team-mate Federico Valverde (27). Whilst this incident is unlikely to be the direct cause of a potential departure, its impact on the dressing room could well tip the balance. The situation could prove a windfall for Manchester United, who are reported to have made Tchouaméni one of their targets for the summer transfer window.
