"Being on the touchline here in Brazil was an incredible experience. Ending the trip with a win is a positive for us all. It was a nice way to finish for everyone. This isn't the end for me, I'll be returning to Leipzig now and again.I hadn't seen Neymar in a really long time. We have a good friendship after spending two and a half years together in Paris. A superstar like him remembering me is really nice. I've ordered 10 Neymar shirts which I'm going to hand out as my leaving present.Playing in front of a crowd like that here in Brazil is a big gift. Our team is really well respected here, so we wanted to take the game seriously and put in a proper performance. It was clear to see that the lads were excited to play football again, I enjoyed watching them."

"There were points of the game where I asked myself what I was doing here: I'm in Brazil and I'm playing against Neymar and Santos! It was really crazy. I think it's probably one of the most exciting games I've ever experienced. I got his shirt at half time. Neymar praised me and said I played well. He's one of my idols. It was important for us to get the win. We can now start a new chapter."

"Today was really enjoyable. The atmosphere was fantastic and it was a cool game too. Neymar is a special player and he's extremely popular here in Brazil. That didn't give me any extra motivation on the pitch though. This was a positive way to end our season. We've held a number of important conversations since being here and have a few things to work on together for the future. We have to learn our lessons from this season - not a lot went to plan. Everybody needs to look at themselves and work out how they can do better. Some of us will now go on holiday, while others have international duty."

"We've had a number of great experiences here. The people love football more than anything else, there is nothing more important for them. I think we were able to give them a lot back. Santos' side was really young. It was a good friendly and a nice way to end the trip. We can now take some time to relax and go on our summer holidays to recharge our batteries ahead of next season."
