Manu Koné’s future could be in the Premier League.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have initiated contact with the Roma midfielder’s entourage, identifying him as one of the priority profiles to strengthen their midfield.

The Red Devils’ interest has intensified after the Éderson deal was cancelled.

The English club’s new CEO, Omar Berrada, has excellent relationships with Koné’s agents and wanted to explore the availability of the 2001-born Frenchman.

No official offer has yet been received by Roma, but United have demonstrated an extremely rapid and direct modus operandi in negotiations this summer (as confirmed by the lightning-fast signings of Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans).
