Marcelo Paz, Corinthians' football executive, said: "I hope he receives the passport between tomorrow and Tuesday so he can travel to Brazil. The only reason he has not come is this paperwork pending," he told Cazé TV.

"As soon as he has the passport in hand, I believe he will take the first flight to report back to Corinthians. Then he will go through a readaptation process because he was away a long time. We need to take care physically, but he will be on the pitch soon."

"This Instagram issue is private, he decides what he puts on his profile. If he removed the club handle, I am sure Corinthians remains in his heart, which is more important than a social network. I have nothing to comment because it is a personal account."

"The important thing is that he is well and training. I believe he could be available for the next match, although that depends on the medical department and Dorival Júnior. He is already on the pitch working with the ball."

Corinthians now turn to the Campeonato Paulista, visiting Velo Clube at the Estádio Benito Agnelo Castellano on Sunday at 20:30, their fifth match of the competition.
