Inter president Giuseppe Marotta says no offer has arrived from Al-Hilal for Alessandro Bastoni, telling 365Scores that current chatter is only rumour.

His response followed Gianluca Di Marzio’s claim that Simone Inzaghi had asked Al-Hilal’s hierarchy to sign the Italy defender this summer.

He added, “Our position on Bastoni is clear to everyone.” Inter want to keep him for 2026-2027.

Al-Hilal are planning a summer of replacement and renewal after a disappointing 2025-2026, when they lifted only the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup.

Sources briefed to 365Scores say the Riyadh giants will not sign a new foreign centre-back until decisions are made on Kalidou Koulibaly and Türkiye’s Yusuf Akcicek after pre-season assessment.
