Marquinhos confesses: “I still follow Roma.”

Roma launched him into European football, and now Marquinhos is one of the world’s best central defenders.

The Brazilian, interviewed by Sky Sport a few days before the Champions League final against Arsenal, also spoke about his former team.

“I still follow Roma. Then there’s my compatriot Wesley, who is playing very well and was even called up to the Brazil squad for the World Cup,” he said.

Marquinhos has been a key figure in PSG’s Champions League campaign: the former Roma defender, coached by Luis Enrique, is the captain and undisputed leader of the French side.
