PSG captain Marquinhos, starting against Arsenal on Saturday at 18:00, will become the first player to feature in three Champions League finals with a French club.
As reported by L'Équipe, Saturday's tie is the ninth European Cup final involving a French side, after Reims (1956, 1959), Saint-Étienne (1976), Marseille (1991, 1993), Monaco (2004) and PSG (2020, 2025).
He will start in Budapest, as he did in the 2020 and 2025 finals.
The Brazilian is the only member of the current PSG squad who also played in the 1-0 defeat to Bayern in August 2020.
This will be the 122nd Champions League match of his career.
