Marseille approached Real Madrid for Endrick loan | OneFootball

According to a report from RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Olympique de Marseille’s sporting director, Medhi Benatia, made contact with Real Madrid forward Endrick’s (18) agent during the winter transfer window over the possibility of a loan.

The Marseille director also reached out to Real Madrid to test the waters but quickly found they were unresponsive to the idea. The Brazilian teenager has made 22 appearances across all competitions for the Spanish giants since arriving in the summer and scored five and assisted one.

However, starts have been a rarity for Endrick in the Spanish capital. Yesterday evening, the teenager made only his third start for Los Blancos when he started and starred in the Copa del Rey quarter-final victory against Leganes (3-2).

One of his other starts came in the Champions League defeat to French opposition Lille OSC, while the other was in the Copa del Rey victory against Deportiva Minera.
