Reports in Italy claim that Olympique de Marseille are interested in signing USMNt start Timothy Weah from Juventus this summer, and that the Ligue 1 side are prepared to offer one of two players in exchange for the 25-year-old.
Juventus are looking to sell Weah this summer, as he is not currently part of Igor Tudor’s plans for the 2025-26 season.
He and teammate Samuel Mbangula were both involved in a proposed deal with Premier League side Nottingham Forest, which ultimately fell through at the end of June.

Now, according to reports from Calciomercato.com, Roberto De Zerbi’s Marseille have stepped forwards for the unwanted American.
Marseille are on the lookout for new additions at wing-back following the sale of Luis Henrique to Inter earlier in the summer transfer window.
Juventus and Marseille have historically enjoyed a sound working relationship, which has continued with former Bianconeri teammates Mehdi Benatia and Giorgio Chiellini both occupying directorship roles with the two clubs.

According to Thursday’s report, Juventus had valued Weah in the region of €14m at the time of the talks with Nottingham Forest.
Calciomercato adds that Marseille could be prepared to offer one their current first-team players in order to get a deal done.
They are Leonardo Balerdi, a 26-year-old Argentine centre-back, and attacking midfielder Amoine Harit.
