Marseille’s Geronimo Rulli: ‘We’re facing the best version of PSG in their history’ | OneFootball

Olympique de Marseille goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli was present in Les Olympiens‘ pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon, as a Classique clash beckons this weekend at the Vélodrome against Paris Saint-Germain. Speaking at a conference attended by Get French Football News, Rulli has stated that Luis Enrique’s men will be a tough side to beat on Sunday afternoon – explaining that Les Parisiens are currently the best version of theirselves in their history.“Without a doubt it’s a different game to the last Vélodrome classique last year,” said Rulli referring to OM’s 3-0 loss last October. “For one it’s not my first game, you have to have played against them before for the experience – It’s a special match that practically all of France will be watching.”Les Olympiens come off the back of a narrow loss to Real Madrid (2-1) in the Champions League, but one that came with much encouragement ahead of a Classique clash that Marseille have struggled chronically over the last 15 year. “I think that before us is the best version of PSG in their history – they have practically won everything. Of course they are also our rivals and that inspires us to beat them.
