Marshall Munetsi has suggested he could remain at Paris FC beyond his loan, with the Wolves midfielder in fine form. The Zimbabwe international has scored four goals in 12 appearances since a mid-season switch.
“I feel good here alongside some players that I know. We get on well and you see that on the pitch. You can’t buy this atmosphere; it’s there, or it isn’t.” he said, speaking to GFFN.
“I came for six months and I am focused on the six games remaining. We will see what discussions are had at the end of the season.”
“There is a great project here. My family like it here in Paris. My two boys were born in France. It is also my country a bit.”
Munetsi’s role in Paris has been clear, allowing regular influence high up the pitch, something he struggled to sustain at Wolves amid shifting duties.
His form strengthens Wolves’ hand this summer, potentially improving their chances of recouping more of the £16 million they initially paid. If no permanent agreement is reached, he could yet prove useful back in the Championship.
