Bayern Munich's push for the title, a pulsating battle for the European places and a nail-biting scrap to avoid relegation - bundesliga.com breaks down who can achieve what and how on Matchday 31 of the 2024/25 season...
Bayern and holders Bayer Leverkusen are the only teams in with a title shot ahead of Matchday 31. However, Leverkusen's draw against St. Pauli on Matchday 30 has tilted the scales in Bayern's favour.
The record champions are eight points clear and will seal the deal if they win against Mainz and Leverkusen fail to beat Augsburg at home this weekend. A Bayern draw and a Bayer loss would all but send the title to Munich, given the leaders' vastly superior goal difference, but dropped points for the record champions and a win for Leverkusen would keep the race alive for at least another week.

UEFA Champions League qualification
The Bundesliga's top-four teams at the end of the campaign are all guaranteed Champions League football the following season.
Bayern secured their spot in the competition on Matchday 27, with Leverkusen following suit on Matchday 29. However, with Eintracht Frankfurt currently some 12 points back in third, no other side can seal qualification for the Champions League this weekend. RB Leipzig are currently fourth, three points behind Frankfurt and only one clear of Freiburg in fifth.
UEFA Europa League
Only the fifth-placed side in the Bundesliga typically qualifies for the Europa League, though that spot will drop down to sixth should VfB Stuttgart win the DFB Cup and finish in the top six.
No side will be able to cement a spot in the top five on Matchday 31.
UEFA Conference League play-offs
Similarly, the team that finishes sixth in the Bundesliga qualifies for the Conference League play-offs. However, this will go to seventh if Stuttgart win the DFB Cup and finish in the top six.
This weekend, a win for Frankfurt will secure a top-six finish if both Borussia Dortmund (Hoffenheim, a) and Werder Bremen (St. Pauli, h) lose and Borussia Mönchengladbach (Holstein Kiel, a) and Augsburg (Leverkusen, a) fail to win.
Top-flight safety
All sides down to and including 13th place are mathematically safe for another season. For those teams still involved in the battle for survival, this is the state of play:
Relegation play-off spot:
Whoever finishes 16th in the Bundesliga will contest the relegation play-off against the third-placed team in Bundesliga 2. Hoffenheim will finish no lower than 16th should the following happen on Matchday 31:
St. Pauli, meanwhile, will finish no lower than 16th if:
Relegation
No team can be officially relegated on Matchday 31

Union Berlin has appealed this ruling to the Permanent Arbitration Tribunal for Clubs and Corporations in the Licensed Leagues.
