Kylian Mbappé netted twice as Real Madrid edged out Celta Vigo 3-2 in a nervy finish at the Bernabéu.

Arda Güler opened the scoring just after the half-hour mark. The Turkey international played a quick one-two with Lucas Vázquez from a short corner before curling a brilliant left-footed effort into the top corner from a tight angle.

Madrid’s second came not long after, when Jude Bellingham lofted a perfectly weighted pass over the top for Mbappé, who coolly slotted it past the keeper.

Just three minutes into the second half, Güler turned provider with a sharp through ball, and Mbappé calmly fired in his second.

Celta Vigo weren’t done though - Javi Rodríguez pulled one back in the 69th minute, and Williot Swedberg added another shortly after, setting up a tense finish.

But Carlo Ancelotti's side stood firm to see the game out and take the win.

With this win, Los Blancos remain four points behind LaLiga leaders Barcelona, who they face in next weekend’s El Clásico.
