The World Cup group stage has reached its second round of fixtures, and some paths are already settled. According to L'Équipe, Mexico, the United States and Germany have booked places in the round of 32, with the Americans and Germans already confirmed as group winners.
Mexico became the first nation confirmed through, progressing from Group A.
