Real Madrid will entertain Villarreal at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on Saturday night as they look to secure a victory at home in La Liga. Los Blancos managed to earn a dominant 5-0 win over Kairat in midweek, which should give them some confidence ahead of this game.

Xabi Alonso will set his men up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make some tweaks to his first team for this contest. Eder Militao, Jude Bellingham and Federico Valverde could all play from the start of this game.

4-2-3-1 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup To Face Villarreal

Defence

Thibaut Courtois will operate in between the sticks for the Madrid giants after keeping a clean sheet in midweek. Eder Militao will function alongside Dean Huijsen at the heart of the Real Madrid backline as they hope to keep things solid at the back throughout the 90 minutes.

Alvaro Carreras will try to give a good account of himself as the left-back, while Federico Valverde fills in on the other side as a makeshift right-back. Both of them will get the license to go forward and express themselves in the opposition half.

David Alaba will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Eduardo Camavinga will anchor the midfield with Aurelien Tchouameni as they look to establish their dominance over the opposition at the centre of the park.

The talented trio of Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham and Arda Guler will operate just ahead of them as part of Alonso’s attack. All three of them need to link up with each other well in the opponent’s half if Real Madrid want to secure a convincing victory this Saturday night.

Dani Ceballos, Brahim Diaz and Rodrygo will have to be content with a spot on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if required.

Attack

Kylian Mbappe will lead the line for the Madrid giants in the final third after scoring a hat-trick against Kairat earlier this week. He would be full of confidence going into this game against Villarreal.

Gonzalo Garcia will be available for selection on the bench as he waits for his chance to catch the eye in the final quarter of this contest, if needed.
