Liverpool legend has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia

Ramy Abbas Issa, the agent of Mohamed Salah, has offered an update on the Liverpool legend’s future.

A switch to Saudi Arabia, less than a year after reportedly turning down a switch that would have been worth £500m, has been touted as have moves to the United States, Roma, Real Madrid, Barcelona and several European clubs.

However, Abbas has insisted that Salah’s next move has not been decided yet.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, he said: "We do not know where Mohamed will play next season.

“This also means that no one else knows."

As per Liverpool’s statement, Salah “has reached an agreement with the Reds” that will see him depart at the conclusion of the 2025-26 campaign and it’s been reported it will be on a free transfer.

Salah signed a two-year contract extension last April, keeping him at Anfield until the summer of 2027.

However, with Liverpool deciding to waive a transfer fee for the forward, his official exit date is set to be June 30, 2026.

Salah said: “Hello everyone, unfortunately the day has come. This is the first part of my farewell. I will be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season.

“I never imagined how deeply this club, this city and the people would become part of my life.

“Liverpool is not just a football club. It is a passion, a history, a spirit. I can’t explain in words.

“We won the most important trophies and we fought together through the hardest time in my life.

“I want to thank everyone who has been part of this club throughout my time here.

“I don’t have enough words. The support you showed me support through the best times of my career and you stood by me in my toughest times. I will never forget.

“Leaving is never easy. I will always be one of you and this club will always be home to me and my family.

“Thank you for everything. Because of all of you, I will never walk alone.”
