Lukas Hradecky (35) has suffered a knee injury that is set to rule him out for around two months, AS Monaco manager Adi Hutter has confirmed.
Monaco made signing a new No.1 one of their priorities this summer and signed Hradecky at the start of August from Bayer Leverkusen. The Finland international quickly settled at the Principality club and impressed as he started in the club’s first three Ligue 1 games.
However, in the last game, a 3-2 win over RC Strasbourg Alsace, Hradecky was forced off with a knee injury. He had been struggling with the knee for over two minutes before the decision was taken to hook him.
Hutter has now revealed that the goalkeeper has suffered a ligament injury in his knee, which could sideline him for two months. In his absence, Philipp Kohn will start in goal, starting this weekend, away to AJ Auxerre.
