According to the latest reports from Mexico, Sergio Ramos has decided not to extend his stay with the Rayados de Monterrey. The Spaniard joined the Mexican side at the start of 2025 on a one-year deal. Despite his impending departure from the Mexican club, according to El Chiringuito, the 39-year-old Spanish defender wants to continue his career elsewhere rather than hang up his boots.

This decision comes despite his fondness for both Mexico and the club, which he expressed last October by saying he felt very welcomed and hoped to stay for several years.
