MIAMI – The 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup continues with LA Galaxy hosting Mount Pleasant FA in the First Leg of their Round of 16 series on Wednesday at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, USA.
Mount Pleasant FA will make its Champions Cup debut, starting its campaign in the Round of 16 by virtue of winning the 2025 Concacaf Caribbean Cup. Players like Kimoni Bailey will be key as the Jamaican side looks to write more club history.
LA Galaxy reached this stage after advancing on away goals following a 1-1 aggregate score against Sporting San Miguelito. Joseph Paintsil struck the series-winning goal that earned the Round of 16. Marcus Reus, Novak Mićović, and Jakob Glesnes will be other players to watch for the MLS side.
