According to Glorioso 1904, almost 200 days after his last call-up, Gonçalo Moreira has been named in Benfica’s squad for the 29th round against Nacional this Sunday at 18:00, after a fine run of form. It is the attacking midfielder’s second inclusion under Mourinho.

It is perhaps the main surprise for the game, with Leandro Barreiro and Aursnes returning as expected after injury.

This season he has played 33 matches across Benfica’s B, juniors and under-23 sides, totalling 2,114 minutes, with 18 goals and 10 assists. He is valued at 1.2 million euros and has long awaited another opportunity.
