Dundee and Livingston finished 2-2 at Dens Park on Saturday, lifting Dundee from 10th to ninth in the Scottish Premiership.

In the third minute, Simon Murray swept in from close range after Tony Yogane kept a corner alive. The striker then glanced a header into the bottom corner (5.), meeting a Cameron Congreve cross.

Lewis Smith halved the arrears with a left-footed finish on the break (15.). Scott Pittman levelled from the right side of the box (19.) as the game exploded early.

Jerome Prior kept Livingston in it with multiple stops from Congreve before the interval and again late on. Jon McCracken preserved the point by saving Stevie May's long-range effort in the fourth minute of second half stoppage time.

An injury to Brad Halliday forced Dundee into an early change, with Imari Samuels on (32.). After the restart, Callum Jones and Scott Wright entered (46.) and Congreve continued to create from the right, but the hosts could not find a winner.

Dundee dominated the ball with 70.2% possession and forced 10 corners. Livingston registered 16 attempts but hit the target only three times.

Livingston remain 12th. Next, Dundee visit Aberdeen. Livingston host Rangers.
