Before diving into our suggested line-up, it’s worth noting that Gameweek 29 will include free transfers, allowing up to five substitutions. You’ll also have the option to roll this benefit into future matchweeks, which could prove crucial for long-term planning.

With that in mind, here’s our recommendations for Matchweek 27, laid out nicely in a first XI, all while sticking to a budget of SAR 80 million.

--------

Goalkeeper

Predrag Rajkovic - Al Ittihad (5.6 million)

The Serbian goalkeeper returns from international duty in strong form having recently hit the 100-point mark. With RSL champions Al Ittihad hosting Al Hazem this round, Rajkovic looks well-positioned for a solid return.

--------

Theo Hernandez - Al Hilal (6.8m)

One of the league’s standout defenders, Hernandez continues to deliver consistently. He ranks among the top five defenders in the game and is the joint-highest scorer for his position, with five goals. Al Hilal face Al Taawoun at home, offering another promising opportunity.

Roger Ibanez - Al Ahli (6.4m)

Ibanez remains one of the most reliable defensive assets in the game. With 179 points, he sits just two shy of the top defender overall. Having just returned from his Brazil recall, his strong possession numbers and consistent performances make him a must-consider pick as Al Ahli host Damac.

Muhannad Al Shanqiti - Al Ittihad (5.2m)

An attacking full-back with 10 goal contributions, Al Shanqiti continues to impress for the champions. Despite a relatively low selection rate, his 136 points highlight his effectiveness, in turn making him a strong differential option.

Moteb Al Harbi - Al Hilal (4.4m)

Al Harbi offers excellent value, with 97 points despite limited minutes. With a low ownership rate, he’s an appealing differential - especially as title contenders Al Hilal look to dominate against Al Taawoun.

Mohammed Abdulrahman - Al Ahli (4.4m)

A budget-friendly option with strong underlying numbers, Abdulrahman boasts an impressive points-per-game average. With very low ownership, he’s a high-risk, high-reward pick.

--------

Midfield

Houssem Aouar - Al Ittihad (7.9m)

While his team have struggled this season, Aouar remains a creative force - particularly at home. With low ownership, he could be a smart differential against Al Hazem.

Fashion Sakala - Al Fayha (8.2m)

Al Fayha’s main attacking threat, Sakala leads his team in both points and goals. Heading into an away clash with NEOM Sports Club, the in-form Zambian remains a reliable midfield option.

Yannick Carrasco - Al Shabab (7.7m)

One of the standout performers in RSL Fantasy, Carrasco has surpassed 200 points and is in exceptional form right now. Notably, he scored a hat-trick last time against Al Riyadh - whom Al Shabab face again, this time away from home.

Attack

Karim Benzema - Al Hilal (11.2m

A consistent performer, Benzema averages 7.3 points per game and remains one of the most reliable forwards available. With strong ownership backing him, he’s a safe captaincy option.

Ivan Toney - Al Ahli (11.3m)

Toney is one of the standout players in the game, sitting near the top of the overall points rankings, with 251. The league’s leading scorer having struck 25 times, he’s a near-essential pick given his consistency and high ownership.

Final Thoughts

With a Double Gameweek in play, this is a key opportunity to climb the rankings. Balancing reliable stars like Toney, Benzema, and Carrasco with smart differentials such as Al Harbi and Al Shanqiti could be the difference-maker.

And don’t forget, with five free transfers available in Gameweek 29, now is also the time to think strategically about the weeks ahead.
