Napoli accelerate move for Chelsea’s Cesare Casadei | OneFootball

Serie A giants Napoli are keen on signing Chelsea’s Cesare Casadei and they are now accelerating their move for the midfielder.

The Partenopei are keen on strengthening in midfield and they want to sign Casadei this month, with assistant manager Cristian Stellini having seen him from close during his time at Inter with Antonio Conte.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that they have accelerated their move and are ahead of Torino in the chase. While the player’s priority is Torino, Napoli have moved ahead of the Granata and they want to close a move quickly.

There is still some distance to be covered for Napoli to close the deal but they might have to do that quickly. There has previously been talk of interest from Monza and Lazio, but they have not made any concrete moves yet and things haven’t gone beyond initial talks for the Italy Under-21s man, who is not getting action at Chelsea.
