Serie A side Napoli have set a price tag for striker Romelu Lukaku following a fallout as Milan registers interest.
The report by Sportmediaset (via TMW) reveals that the Partenopei president Aurelio De Laurentiis has set a €20 million asking price for Lukaku, who has expressed a desire to remain in the Serie A but away from Napoli.
The Belgian striker would prefer returning to Milan, a city where he featured for Inter, winning the Scudetto. However, this time the call might come from the Rossoneri, who are searching for a new striker to join their ranks.
As of now, Lukaku remains on the shortlist for Massimiliano Allegri’s club and is not a priority. Milan are pursuing the likes of Atletico Madrid’s Alexander Sørloth, Juventus’ Dušan Vlahović and Barcelona forward Robert Lewandowski in addition to the former Nerazzurri man.
Lukaku and Napoli had a major fallout earlier this month following the striker’s decision to stay in Belgium to proceed with a personal injury rehabilitation plan against the club’s decision.
