Nashville SC meets Club América in Champions Cup Quarterfinals | OneFootball

MIAMI – The 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup continues with Nashville SC hosting Club América in the First Leg of their Quarterfinals series on Tuesday at GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.

Nashville SC arrives to the Quarterfinals for the first time after knocking out Inter Miami CF in the Round of 16. After a goalless First Leg, Lionel Messi and Cristian Espinoza traded goals for a 1-1 draw in Florida in the Second Leg, sending Nashville through on away goals.

Club América is set for a 10th appearance in the Quarterfinals after defeating the Philadelphia Union, 2-1, in the Round of 16. Las Águilas secured a 1-nil victory on the road in the First Leg, with a goal from Raphael Veiga, followed by a 1-1 draw at home in the Second Leg, with Rodrigo Dourado being on target.

This series marks the first time Nashville SC faces a Mexican opponent in the Concacaf Champions Cup. This will be the fifth time América takes on an opponent from MLS in the Quarterfinals, having advanced in each of the past occasions.

The Mexico City side looks to extend its current positive run playing in the United States since the current format was implemented in 2008, currently being undefeated in five matches with three wins and two draws.
