National: FBBP 01 fall to leaders Dijon

Dijon, the National leaders, beat FBBP 01 on Friday night at Stade Gaston-Gérard, leaving the visitors with nothing to show for their trip to Burgundy.

Le Progres reports that Dijon controlled proceedings throughout, granting the Bressans few openings to get back on terms.

In a meeting of extremes, the league leaders duly prevailed. Defeated at Fleury 91 a week earlier, Dijon looked to reset at home against an FBBP 01 side still fighting to stay up.

FBBP 01 had been buoyed by a controlled home win over Paris 13 Atletico last week, but could not reproduce that display. Without midfielder Jules Meyer, on loan from the hosts, they instead found themselves under pressure.

The result proved a setback in their survival battle, with FBBP 01 slipping one place in the table.
