John Obi Mikel has urged Chelsea to sign Benfica goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin following his performance against the Blues in the Club World Cup.
Chelsea advanced to the quarter finals after a wild game in Charlotte, which was delayed for nearly two hours due to adverse weather conditions.
Reece James had given Chelsea the lead with a brilliant free kick, before the game was suspended with just five minutes left, and upon resumption Benfica equalised with a penalty to force extra time.
Chelsea came alive in extra time and goals from Christopher Nkunku, Pedro Neto and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall gave them a 4-1 win.
The Blues were in control of the game and put in an impressive first half performance which saw them create several opportunities.

The best of them arguably fell to Marc Cucurella, but Trubin in the Benfica goal put in a brilliant performance.
The Ukrainian made seven saves in the first half, although later on he did make a couple of costly mistakes, but that didn’t stop Mikel from urging the Blues to consider signing the 23-year-old.
“Again another mistake from Trubin,” Mikel told DAZN during his post match analysis.
“We talked about him before the game. He has had a brilliant tournament so far. Today’s one of those days, he just needed to forget it.
“I still think we (Chelsea) need to get Trubin.”
Supporters would love to see Chelsea sign a new keeper this summer, but as things stand that’s reportedly unlikely to happen.
Chelsea were strongly linked with Mike Maignan earlier this month, but weren’t prepared to meet AC Milan’s valuation.
