Nesta: Thiago Silva can help Brazil chase World Cup glory

Alessandro Nesta believes that Thiago Silva, central defender for FC Porto, could be decisive in helping Brazil win the 2026 World Cup. Speaking to the media, the former center-back also recalled sharing the locker room with Thiago Silva at AC Milan:

“We played together for six years at Milan. When he arrived, he was very young. But very intelligent, quick, and technical. He’s a bit older now, but it’s just one month, the World Cup doesn’t last six months. And for me, Thiago can help Brazil try to win.”
