These statements promptly led to new speculation surrounding FC Bayern – but those responsible at Säbener Straße reacted immediately

Clear Bayern statement on Salah rumors

When asked by the Arabic portal winwinallsports, sporting director Max Eberl made it unmistakably clear: „No, he has not received an offer from Bayern Munich.“

The Bayern boss is thus clearly contradicting the latest reports and providing clarity on the matter. Although Munich have been loosely linked with Salah time and again in the past, there have never been any concrete talks or offers

From a sporting perspective, a transfer also seems rather unlikely at present. Bayern are already well-staffed on the attacking flanks, and a player like Salah would not necessarily fit the current requirement profile – also due to his age and salary

Salah’s future still open

Regardless of this, the future of the Egyptian superstar remains open, with offers from Saudi Arabia and the MLS being discussed in addition to Europe

Hassan himself spoke out clearly in favor of staying in Europe: „If he doesn’t receive any offers from Europe, a move to the Saudi league would be a good option, especially in view of big names like Cristiano Ronaldo.“

A move to the MLS, on the other hand, would not be an ideal move for him: „He would be far away from the limelight there.“
