Nico O'Reilly will wear the number 33 shirt for Manchester City for the 2025/26 season.

Academy graduate O’Reilly previously held the number 75, which he was assigned after breaking into the first team at the start of the 2024/25 season.

The former Under-18s captain was selected for the pre-season tour to the United States ahead of last season and excelled, scoring his first senior goal against Barcelona just days after making his debut against Celtic.

But that was just the start as the versatile starlet became a reliable member of Pep Guardiola's first-team squad.

His journey began with a professional senior debut in our Community Shield triumph over Manchester United at Wembley – the first of 21 appearances across a campaign that also included the FIFA Club World Cup this summer.

O’Reilly scored five times during his debut season, including a crucial double against Plymouth Argyle in an FA Cup fifth-round victory at the Etihad.

As we get set for the new season, O’Reilly has now switched to the 33 shirt previously worn by the likes of Club legend Vincent Kompany, Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus and centre-back Matija Nastasic, as well as goalkeepers Scott Carson and Kasper Schmeichel.
