Christian Falk has reported that Harry Kane’s Bayern Munich future could be something to watch this summer as Paris Saint-Germain are interested in a top striker like him.
The England international has been on fire in front of goal at Bayern this season, finding the back of the net 54 times in just 46 appearances in all competitions.
Still, in his latest CF Bayern Insider column, Falk has stated that it’s not impossible to imagine that Kane might be tempted to ask for a new challenge this summer, depending on how this season goes.
For now, Kane is clearly happy and settled in Munich, but PSG are eyeing up the former Tottenham star and that might be a saga worth watching in the weeks and months ahead.
Discussing Kane’s future, Falk dropped exclusive information on PSG eyeing up the 32-year-old ahead of this summer.
The German journalist did add, however, that Bayern also want to tie their top scorer down to a new contract.
“It is TRUE: Bayern Munich would like to extend Harry Kane’s contract before the World Cup,” Falk wrote.
“Both sides are completely relaxed at the moment. Kane is feeling pretty good with his current lot in life at Bayern. He’s dreaming of winning the Champions League and performing very well across all competitions this season.
“As I mentioned, there was a banquet held after the Champions League defeat to PSG. Harry Kane’s family was also attending – his wife, father and brother (and their respective families) – so, you can see he’s feeling completely well in Munich.

“I heard that PSG are searching for – and what to spend a lot of money on – a striker like Harry Kane. They’re focusing on Kane. So, you never know! If Bayern win everything this season, perhaps Harry comes back to the bosses and says he fancies a new challenge.
“He’ll be closer to England, certainly, if he were to move to the French capital. But at the moment, I don’t think he’s feeling this way. In the end, of course, if there’s an offer on the table, you never know!”
Kane was a world class striker during his Spurs days, but despite his 280 goals for the north London club, he was never able to win a trophy while he was there.
Since moving to Bayern, Kane has continued to perform at a superb level, whilst also helping himself to a couple of Bundesliga titles.
The Champions League could also be a very realistic dream for Kane and Bayern this season, though they currently trail PSG 5-4 from the first leg of their semi-final tie.
In total, Kane has 139 goals in 142 games since arriving in Germany and it will be interesting to see if he fancies adding to that or testing himself on another stage.
