Kofane is attracting Newcastle and other top clubs after an impressive individual campaign so far, and his agent exclusively revealed to Daily Arsenal that the Gunners, Everton, Brentford, Barcelona and Bayern Munich also want the 19-year-old.

Depolo claims the Magpies target is worth £87 million (€100m) but it remains to be seen whether any of his suitors will be keen to pay that much for him. Kofane.

The Cameroonian has seven goals and eight assists in 39 appearances this term after a return of eight goals and one assist in 20 La Liga2 games for Albacete last season.

Newcastle have struggled to replace the goals of Alexander Isak, with Nick Woltemade struggling recently despite impressing upon his arrival.

The German has ten goals across all competitions but has just one goal in his last 22 appearances for the Toons.

Yoane Wissa has just three goals all season while William Osula has scored four times.

Newcastle could look to sign another number 9 in the summer, and Kofane has attracted them.

His pace, strength, aerial prowess, technique and ability to defend well are qualities the Magpies could do with.

He was a menace against Arsenal in the first-leg of their Champions League round-of-16 tie and could prove to be a hit in the Premier League.

However, signing Kofane is a gamble and no one knows whether taking a punt on him could be worth it as he has yet to prove himself for more than a season in top-flight football.
